Mahira Khan came into this world on the 10th of January in 1984 in Karachi, hailing from a Muhajir family with Pashtun roots. Her father, Hafeez Khan, was born in Delhi during the era of British India and later relocated to Pakistan following the partition. Other than herself, Mahira has two brothers and a sister. 

Educational Background

Mahira Khan studied at Foundation Public School, where she successfully completed her O-Levels. Later at the age of 17, she ventured to California to pursue her higher education at the Santa Monica College. 

Subsequently, she did her bachelor’s degree program at the University of Southern California. However, she chose to discontinue her education and return to Pakistan in 2008. 

While pursuing her education in the US, she concurrently worked as a cashier at a Rite Aid store located in Los Angeles. 

Professional Career

Mahira Hafeez Khan made her first appearance on the silver screen with the drama “Jaise Jante Nahin”. However, she started her career as a VJ in 2006.

Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan gained immense popularity in India after her Debut in 2017  opposite Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Raees. Besides that, she is well known for her roles in hit dramas like Humsafar and Tamasha.

As per reports, the beautiful actress will next be seen with Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed in a Netflix series, “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo” – it is an official adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq’s bestselling Urdu language novel.

Mahira Khan marked her entry into cinema alongside Atif Aslam in the romantic film “Bol” (2011), a performance that garnered her a nomination for the Lux Style Award for Best Film Actress. 

She also graced the Pakistani film industry with her notable performances in successful films such as “Bin Roye” (2015), “Ho Mann Jahaan” (2015) and “Superstar” (2019). 

Later, she expanded her horizons by venturing into production, debuting as a producer with the sports web series “Baarwan Khiladi” in 2022.

The actress has recently got married again with her long time boyfriend, the prominent businessman, Salim Karim on October 1st. The wedding festivities took place in the beautiful mountain resort city Murree in Pakistan’s Punjab Province. The intimate ceremony in the country’s hill town was no less than a fairytale. 

Glimpses of the joyous celebration are floating all across the social media and are simply magnificent. In the viral posts, the beautiful couple is seen embracing each other with an emotional hug. The outdoor setting added a serene touch to their wedding festivities.
